Cucumber when in our soap recipe is widely used as a face wash is comprised largely of proteins, Vitamin C, a variety of minerals, it also has an astringent and anti aging affect that can also help soothe and relieve puffy skin. It makes a must have, amazing face bar. You can even keep the lather on your face for a few extra seconds and use it as a cucumber face mask. We used some powerful essential oils and clays to enhance the benefit of this bar.
We love to use vegetables in our soap and many times instead of water we'll use cucumbers, this is one of those bars. A hydrating, rejuvinating and energizing bar, once you try it once we guarentee you won't want any other face wash again.
In this bar we use...
- Bergamot essential oil: soothes skin irritations, cleanses oily skin and helps kill germs and bacteria
- Rosemary essential oil: contains anti-inflammatory properties known to ease redness and puffiness
- Fennel essential oil: reduces the appearance of pores and patchy skin
- Lemon essential oil: relieves eczema and similar skin conditions and improves signs of aging on the skin, such as age spots and alike
